Welcome to La Nonna Bella Ristorante Italiano, where authenticity, quality, and true Italian hospitality are our number one priority. La Nonna Bella, which means "the beautiful grandmother" in English, is in honor of all the grandmothers around the world.

In November of 2010, Lino, Erica, and a very close friend took over the restaurant and began introducing their culinary creations. The culinary concept at La Nonna Bella is not strictly old-world, but rather a compilation of classic Italian dishes alongside the newest culinary trends found throughout Italy today.

Lino, who was born and raised in Conversano, Italy, brings the flavors of Bari to Garden City. While the menu features dishes from all over Italy, there is a subtle emphasis on the Puglia region. Chef Lino strives for perfection and authenticity in the kitchen—always using fresh, seasonal ingredients and updating the specials to reflect the best the season has to offer. Every dish is made to order, right in the moment.

Erica greets every guest with a smile and ensures that their dining experience is perfect from beginning to end. Her love for hospitality and her warm, pleasant nature shine through at every table.

Together, Lino and Erica aim to make you feel as though you're in Italy, enjoying an authentic meal. They travel back to Italy every year to stay in touch with the country’s latest culinary trends—and, of course, to visit Nonna.
